Catherine Campbell brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience to our team, and an impressive background leading Medicare and Medicaid business.

Cathy’s background includes tenure at Anthem from 2010-2012, when she served as VP, Strategy, Planning and Business Development, helping to drive our enterprise Affordable Care Act strategies and build our private exchange business.

Most recently, Cathy served as principal of CBC Advisers, providing advisory and consulting services to several national healthcare startups with solutions for Medicare and Medicaid managed care programs, particularly focused on solutions for vulnerable populations. Earlier this year, as Executive-in-Residence for VillageMD Primary Care Clinics, she helped bring scale and efficiencies to the $15B start-up during a period of rapid expansion, driving population health and cost of care initiatives, top-line growth, and margin targets across more than 75 primary care clinics in 11 states.

Cathy’s background also includes senior leadership roles at Molina Healthcare, where she led the $3.5B Medicare business and drove turnaround efforts to restore financial and operational health that resulted in a 32% improvement in sales and the largest Medicare AEP sales result in the history of the company, and at Blue Shield of California, where she grew the Government Programs business into one of the nation’s top 20 Medicare Advantage programs during her tenure.

A versatile and talented leader, Cathy has a proven track record of developing strong relationships with stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration and partnership to accomplish core objectives and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth, and demanding environment.

Amy Lung brings more than 17 years’ experience in healthcare operations to her key leadership position on the Aspire Health team. Throughout her career, Amy has worked with health plans, providers, technology companies and employer groups to engage and support new operating models while leading large scale operations focused on aligning business objectives, member outcomes and operational efficiencies to improve the cost and quality of healthcare.

Prior to Aspire, Amy was the Chief Operating Officer of Healthmine, a SaaS-based technology company, where she led day to day operations with a focus on member engagement and improving health outcomes. At Healthmine, Amy led product strategy to achieve product-market fit within health insurance companies with significant focus on P&L, growth, operational efficiencies, and client retention.

Amy has extensive experience in managed care working in health plans and provider organizations with leadership positions focused on driving quality improvement and value-based contracting strategies at WellCare/Meridian, Blue Shield of California, and Hill Physicians Medical Group.

Amy earned a BA in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Dr. Paul Mikulecky

Dr. Paul Mikulecky is an experienced physician leader with an extensive background in primary, care, hospital medicine, utilization and care management, population health, and value-based care in the Medicare and commercial areas.

Prior to working on the payor side of healthcare, Paul worked for four years in the primary care, rounding on his patients in the post-acute setting, and 10 years in hospital medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his MBA July 2021. Paul joins the CareMore family after working at Humana for ten years where he managed Medicare advantage markets focusing on improving member outcomes, market profitability and improving market share in addition to being involved in Enterprise Clinical Strategy to refresh commercial care management with a focus on population health.

During his free time, Paul is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backcountry skiing and hiking in the Colorado mountains with his family and volunteering with Colorado Swimming.

William Logan, MD, MHS MBA

Staff VP National Medical Director

William Logan, MD is an Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Palliative and Hospice Medicine Board Certified, practicing physician with more than 25 years of clinical, academic, and management experience.

Dr. Logan received his undergraduate degree with honors in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by his MD from the UNC School of Medicine.  He went on to train in General Surgery and Transplant Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.  After a period of solo private practice in rural western North Carolina, he joined the faculty at Greenville Health System’s Internal Medicine Residency.  He started Geriatric Care Services – a consultative practice assuring continuity of care for older adult patients from Acute Inpatient each level of post-acute care (including Long Term Acute Care Hospital, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation).  In order to continue to expand that program, he enrolled in a Geriatrics Fellowship at Duke University. During the Fellowship, he also obtained a Masters of Health Sciences at Duke University.

He returned as Chair of the Division of Geriatrics for Greenville Health System.  He opened the Center for Success in Aging, a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and research center in collaboration with Clemson University and the University of Georgia.  In addition to direct patient care, he performed research in driving in the elderly and functional independence and taught in the Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residencies and the Geriatric Fellowship at the University of South Carolina.  In 2014, he transitioned to Medical Director for Humana.

He moved to Humana’s provider organization, Partners in Primary Care (now Centerwell) and opened 4 fully-delegated clinics in the Upstate of South Carolina – assuming responsibility for over 6000 Medicare Advantage members.  Dr. Logan received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee’s Haslam School of Business in 2020.  He has been a South Carolina Chief Medical Officer for Centene and for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.  Through his work as Chief Medical Officer, he has managed Medicare, Medicaid, Dual Eligible, Special Needs, Institutional, and Exchange plan populations.  His passion is assuring that older adults have the care they need to age successfully.

Jared Sullivan

Jared Sullivan brings more than 20 years of PBM and payor healthcare operations leadership experience to our team and has a big heart for PEOPLE—the patients and customers we serve and the wonderful talent who power our clinical and operational models.

Jared’s background includes 10 years of Blue plan experience with 6 of those years being with Anthem from 2014-2020. In his last Anthem role, he served as Staff VP, Medicare Service Experience, helping drive our Medicare Operations service strategy and leading operations globally for patient and provider experience. Most recently, Jared led Government Operations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona with a focus on stabilizing Medicare Operations and improving cost effectiveness, integrating and unifying our Medicare Supplement Operations under the Government Segment, and navigating the Federal Employee Program through a complex, multi-system migration.

Jared received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University. During his personal time, Jared is a devoted husband of 25 years to wife Nicole, proud dad to 3 wonderful daughters, Journey, Ivy, and Meadow, and cowboy at heart raising quarter horses on their growing ranch.

An adaptive and people-oriented operations executive, Jared has demonstrated experience bringing people and technology together to enhance patient, customer, and stakeholder outcomes.

As Chief Financial Officer, Allen Yang oversees the financial performance of the organization. He and his team use the tools of financial reporting, modeling, and analysis to support and realize CareMore Health’s mission of pioneering life-changing care for patients with complex and chronic diseases.

Allen brings to the team more than 20 years of healthcare finance experience, with expertise in Medicare and Medicare Advantage. He most recently served as Centene Corporation’s West Region Vice President of Medicare Finance, which saw Medicare Advantage membership grow to over 300,000 members and $4B revenue in his time there.

Allen holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at Los Angeles and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.

Aman Lail

Aman Lail

Staff VP, Practice Management & Clinical Operations

Aman Lail is the Staff VP for CareMore and Aspire, a subsidiary of Elevance Health. She has 19 years of healthcare experience and 15 of those years have been in an executive leadership capacity for medical group management and hospital operations. She is a visionary leader with a proven track record in the areas of organizational development, strategy, operations, people development, change management, financials, service, quality, healthcare equity, and patient satisfaction. She is well versed in creating strategies to enhance revenue and improve quality and service, while reducing cost. Her passion for developing people has always helped her to create a positive work environment across the organization by recognizing the positive contributions of the employees.

In her recent years, she worked with Kaiser Permanente as a VP of Operations for their Napa Solano Service area. In her role as a VP of Operations, she led the strategy development and implementation work for virtual care initiatives resulting in 47% increase in virtual visits for her service lines. She also helped to lead the KP Northern California region in people development area by developing programs to improve the Joy and Meaning in Medicine (JAMM) for her physicians and staff through operational efficiencies (overall scores obtained for surveys above 4.3 for all service lines on a scale of 1-5). She developed programs to improve patient satisfaction scores from 75% (in 2019) to 80 % (2022) through the enhancement of care coordination and by implementing the call center models for all outpatient service lines.

Aman’s background also includes an executive leadership role at Stanford Healthcare, where she led the Business Development of a newly formed University Medical Group as  Regional Medical Group Administrator. This group comprised of several new clinics, brand new cancer center and many community clinic acquisitions. Using the performance improvement strategies of LEAN and Six Sigma, she helped standardize and centralize the 100 operational/clinical workflows for 57 sites to improve the revenue collection per site by 2%. Under her leadership, staff engagement and Press Ganey scores were also the highest within the Bay area medical groups that resided under Stanford Healthcare.

Aman defines her leadership style as a mix of transformational and servant leadership. She champions the change and innovation with a fine focus on how to inspire/influence the team members to see their contribution in the organizational vision/mission. She is a huge advocate of healthcare equity and finds great joy in contributing to the vision of making care affordable and available for everyone through her work.

Aman holds Bachelor’s  from Rutgers University, NJ and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University, NJ.

In personal life, Aman enjoys the family time with her two little ones. She loves to travel and learn different cultures.

Meghna Patel

Meghna Patel brings 18 years of experience in healthcare provider and payor, clinical nursing, technology startups, and consulting roles to the team.

Prior to CareMore & Aspire, Meghna was a Consulting Manager at Empiric Health. She advised provider clients and implemented hospital surgical supply chain improvements to decrease clinical variation, costs and improve outcomes. Prior to Empiric Health, she worked at Alvarez & Marsal on turnaround initiatives for a health plan client and at Oscar Health Insurance as a nurse case manager.

Meghna’s provider experience includes clinical nursing (pediatric critical care, adult surgical oncology nursing, and geriatric home health case management) and Clinical Analytics experience at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.

As Staff VP of Business Performance, Angela leads the quality, risk adjustment and patient experience functions for the organization. She is a seasoned healthcare executive and is a key member of the leadership team.

Angela has a solid background in strategic development, operations, and accreditation. She is a strong innovator with the ability to align health plan operations and quality to yield improved performance.

Angela has been with CareMore Health since April of 2022. Prior to that Angela was at Centene in various roles focused on Quality Improvement.
