Sachin (pronounced SUCH-in) H. Jain, MD, MBA is president and chief executive officer of CareMore Health and Aspire Healthcare, innovative integrated health care delivery companies with $1.6B+ revenue & over 180,000 patients in 32 states.  He is also adjunct professor of medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine and a contributor at Forbes.  Dr. Jain is co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Healthcare: The Journal of Delivery Science & Innovation.

Prior to joining CareMore, Dr. Jain was Chief Medical Information & Innovation Officer at Merck & Co. He also served as an attending physician at the Boston VA-Boston Medical Center and a member of faculties at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.  From 2009-2011, Dr. Jain worked in the Obama Administration, where he was senior advisor to Donald Berwick when he led the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  Dr. Jain was the first deputy director for policy and programs at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). He also served as special assistant to David Blumenthal when he was the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.

Dr. Jain graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in government and continued on to earn his MD from Harvard Medical School and MBA from Harvard Business School.  He trained in medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Medicine, earned his board certification, and continues to practice medicine at CareMore. He is is an elected member of the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI); and an invited Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).  He has published over 150 articles in journals such as the New England Journal, JAMA, Health Affairs, and was an editor of the book, The Soul of a Doctor (Algonquin Press).

Dr. Jain is a native of New Jersey, but presently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Vivek Garg is Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Aspire Healthcare and CareMore Health and leads the organization’s care delivery, clinical strategy, and clinical innovation. As CMO, Dr. Garg drives the continued evolution of the Aspire and CareMore Health models to serve complex, high-cost, and high-need patients. He was previously CareMore’s Chief Product Officer where he led growth strategy, product development, implementation and learning & development nationally at CareMore. He is dedicated to the goal of humanizing healthcare and achieving the triple aim, through patient-centered care delivery redesign. He also serves as an advisor to early-stage healthcare start-ups.

Before joining CareMore Health, Dr. Garg was Director of Medical Operations & Medical Director at Oscar Insurance – a high-growth, consumer-focused and technology-enabled healthcare company focused on redesigning the health insurance and care delivery experience. He was also Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Prior to Oscar, Dr. Garg was Medical Director at One Medical Group, a nationally recognized, rapidly growing primary care system, where he led initiatives in quality, population health, and telemedicine. His prior work experience spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors, including positions with McKinsey & Company and the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, a leading Congressional advisory body on payment innovation in Medicare.

He trained in internal medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, where he practiced primary care at Faulkner Hospital and was a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School. He received his MD and MBA from Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School, respectively, and graduated summa cum laude from Yale University.

Emily Cook serves as Chief Clinical Operations Officer for both Aspire Health and CareMore Health responsible for Aspire field operations as well as the clinical operations for both companies including the CareMore Care Centers. Emily has more than 30 years of healthcare design and delivery experience and population health management expertise in the commercial and government sectors. Emily most recently served as COO of Ascend Management Innovations providing assessment services for individuals with mental illness and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Prior to that she worked in operations, corporate development, and product development at Healthways and strategy and outcomes measurement at Cogent Hospitalist Group. Emily received a Master’s degree in Education from University of Houston.

Alan Huffman serves as Chief Data & Technology Officer and leads the product management, development and infrastructure teams to deliver market leading technologies to support our fast growing provider and patient populations. Working in various industry segments, Alan has led departments in building cutting edge products such as hospital information systems, mobile EMRs, call centers and robotic pharmacy fulfillment systems. Alan mentors aspiring technologists and speaks at technology & Agile conferences. Alan has worked in Healthcare IT for over 12 years and earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St Louis.

Puneet Singh

Head of Growth

Puneet Singh serves as  Head of Growth for both Aspire Health and CareMore Health, responsible for partnerships with health plans, health systems, and physician groups, as well as new product development. Puneet most recently served as Chief Development Officer for Aspire. Prior to Aspire, Puneet most recently was a Vice President at Chicago Pacific Founders (CPF), a healthcare focused private equity fund. Prior to CPF, Puneet was a Vice President at Accretive Health, where he led corporate strategy, marketing, and communications for the company and was a member of both the Operating and Executive Committees. Earlier in his career, Puneet was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, where he worked on a range of M&A and capital markets transactions across the healthcare industry. Puneet is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
