NASHVILLE, TN – Aspire Health is pleased to announce its support of The Coalition to Transform Advanced Care’s (C-TAC) National Summit on Advanced Illness Care. The annual event will be held in Washington, D.C. on September 20th and 21st, 2016.
This year’s Summit will bring together national leaders who are committed to the vision that all people with advanced illness should receive high-quality, person-centered care. The agenda addresses the latest developments in emerging community and clinic-based care models, the evolving role of technology in care delivery, and payment, legislative and regulatory reform.
“Aspire Health is dedicated to finding ways to improve advanced illness care,” said Brad Smith, CEO of Aspire. “C-TAC is fostering important discussions that will lead to improved care for those with advanced illnesses, and we believe the dialogue will be constructive and productive for all those who attend. Aspire is pleased to join AARP, the American Hospital Association, The John A. Hartford Foundation and The National Academy of Medicine as co-sponsors of this important event.”
One of the keynote speakers at the Summit this year will be Senator William Frist, MD, Aspire Health Co-Founder and Board Chair. Senator Frist will be speaking on “The Changing Political Landscape – Insights into Health and Healthcare Policy in the New Political and Policy Environment.”
“Aspire has been leading the way in how we can rethink advanced illness care in this country,” said Senator Frist. “I look forward to sharing what we’ve learned with the Summit attendees.”
